Meorca Community Guidelines

We created Meorca to be a safe, positive and productive online space for Internet users.

Guidelines enforcement
Meorca blog hosts a diverse community, if you see a profile, a group or content on Meorca that you believe violates our community guidelines, please report them via our reporting tool. In cases where the violation is very serious or intentional we may take further action such as suspending or removing the offending account.

Age Restrictions
Meorca cares about the safety of our users, and in the age of technology, children are on the internet more than ever and free online marketplaces and classifieds can be an easy way for them to find video games, toys, clothes and other items.

We pride ourselves on being a site that the whole family can use and are mindful of the concerns involved with transacting online. To minimise these risks children under 13 years of age are not allowed to register an account on the site and anyone under 16 years of age must have their parent or guardian respond to any ads they may be interested in. Also, if you wish to post an ad on Meorca, the parent or guardian must post the ad on your behalf so they can be directly involved in the transaction.

Meorca reserves the right to remove any Marketplace ad if we feel it is in the best interest and for the safety of our users.

Bullying, harassment, and threats
We don’t allow bullying or harassment. Although we want people to be able to express themselves, be critical and discuss controversial issues, discussing celebrities, media or other public figures can sometimes involve harsh criticism, which we believe is an acceptable part of free speech, but we draw the line when it comes to harassing private figures, or taking any action that might affect someone’s physical safety, regardless whether they are a private or public figure.

As much as we want you to be able to express yourself, we want all of our users to have the right to express their opinion without feeling intimidated. Even the most difficult conversations should take place in sensible and respectful ways.

Hate speech
Meorca is a global platform connecting people, promoting friendship, creativity and inclusivity. We do not tolerate hate speech, exclusion, segregation or even violence. This includes inciting attacks on people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or serious medical conditions.

Offensive and graphic content
We have zero tolerance to the glorification of sexual violence which includes, but not limited to rape and child exploitation (i.e., sexualised depiction of minors).  Meorca reserves the right to review and remove accounts that may violate this guideline.
